 If you have Windows this task will be the easiest part. Simply open the Search or Find option on your desktop, (commonly found in the Start Menu), and Search for: "%APPDATA%/.minecraft/bin". It should appear which has a window that looks similar to the image on the right. Make a back-up copy of "minecraft.jar" in a very rut, in the event something fails out quite right.
